Even before 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' had time to even hit theaters it was confirmed that director directors Anthony and Joe Russo would be helping plan out the story for Captain America 3 and again directing. It was a display of confidence from Marvel Studios and its key decision-maker Kevin Feige, but an unsurprising one considering the critical response to the film.
Early reviews of 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' labeled the film one of the best superhero films ever, it's certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with numbers over both hit Marvel films 'Iron Man' and 'The Avengers', Marvel's two strongest films to date. Iron Man 2 had teased a Thor film; Thor and Captain America teased the epic team-up of The Avengers; The Avengers teased one of Marvel’s most dangerous villains in Thanos. With Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe ...read more
