Spawn: Shooting Date Revealed & Todd McFarlane Says Film Set to Earn R Rating Unlike Deadpool.

Spawn Creator, Todd McFarlane had recently teased that we will be getting a new Spawn remake that would make up for the recent one that was made in the 1990s and starred actor Michael J. White. The film was revealed to now be at Blumhouse and Todd McFarlane had decided to reveal a little more about his upcoming series, which he teased at NYCC. During the teasing, McFarlane also took a shot at last year's Deadpool film.
“[It won’t be R-rated like Deadpool] with a couple F-bombs and a couple bare asses. “It’s going to be dark. I will have a shark in the black water. and if you’re swimming he will come and you’ll be gone and he will f**k you up.”

Last time we saw Spawn on the big screen was back in the 90s with actor Michael J. White portraying the hellish but spectacular character. 
Watching Spawn for the first time, I just new that more films were set to made with MJW playing the character. However, this was not the case and it seemed that we would never see the big guy on screen again. For years things went on and fans were promised by creator Todd McFarlane that a film series would be coming. Then later news came that a new Spawn film would be coming but it would not be a continuation but a reboot.

DC Comics' The Spectre Has Been Cast in 'Constantine' TV Series.
So many recent conversations have gone into what comic characters may or may not be headed to Zack Snyder's DC Comic Films, one could be forgiven for forgetting that NBC is also heading into that universe with their upcoming series Constantine. Maybe the series will return to the top of fan expectations now that DC character Jim Corrigan has been cast, making it entirely plausible that The Spectre will be making his live-action TV debut at some point this fall. Who you gonna call?
