Creed 2: Sequel Coming ~ May Put Adonis Against Son or Relative of Ivan Drago.

Creed was one of the best films that I ever saw and paid a testament to one of the greatest sports film series of all time Rocky. Creed that featured Adonis Johnson Creed as arguably, in Rocky words, the best fighter of all time on the rise following the footsteps of his father. The extremely inspirational film that put actor Michael B. Jordan as Apolo Creed's son ended in an exceptional way that showed that the series was destined for a part 2 after he marginally lost against his competitor Ricky Conlan.

Still, I personally thought that Creed 2, what is still currently unofficial would follow at least a piece of Adonis facing Conlan again for another shot, however, Conlan was set to go to prison for over five years. So who would he be facing possibly seeing that this rematch probably would not be possible? The thought was in the back of my mind that the series might as well put Adonis against the son of the father who killed his father Apollo, Ivan Drago. We'll it seems that Creed 2 just may follow that same direction.

Recently, creator and star of the series or superstar in general Sylvester Stallone (Rocky Balboa) have been pretty busy sharing images on his Instagram account reliving a lot of memories from Rocky IV. In captions of the pictures, Stallone released captions that read: "Sparring with heavyweight Giants can be a little tiring, but great fun.#CREED2", "This one, especially, shows that Stallone wants Creed 2 to go down this particular route, for in there, he states, "Directing APOLLO AND DRAGO , The two best 'cinema' boxers that ever lived!... Maybe it's time to try to again?",

Still, seeing that Sly is the creator of the series and the first film was successful and critically great and earned $173M at the domestic box office. IMDB puts the film at a 2018 release date but we know how that could go. Also, I think that is extremely depressing or the expected release is anyway. This stems from director Ryan Coogler being busy with his other Michael B. Jordan starring film 'Black Panther' for Marvel's Cinematic Universe. Coogler directed the first Creed film and I really don't see anyone else capturing the power of the film series besides Coogler and his style of directing. If Coogler turns down the money to direct the film, do you see anyone else directing the film?
