Terminator 6: Film to Be A Sequel to Judgement Day; Movies 3-5 Are An Alternate Timeline.
September 29, 2017
A little while ago, we revealed that the latest
film in the Terminator series currently titled Terminator 6 will be
including the return of actress Linda Hamilton as the
iconic Sarah Connor.
We'llwe have a recent update pertaining to the film.
It was revealed that not only will Terminator 6 be featuring Linda
Hamilton as Sarah Connor again but the film will not be part of
In a recent interview with THR or The Hollywood
Report, creator of the series James Cameron revealed that this film
will be a continuation from the first and second Terminator films.
This is what he 63-year-old director
“This is a continuation of the story from
Terminator 1 and Terminator 2. And we’re pretending the other films
were a bad dream. Or an alternate timeline, which is permissible in
our multi-verse. This was really driven more by [Tim] than anybody,
surprisingly, because I came in pretty agnostic about where we took
it. The only thing I insisted on was that we somehow revamp it and
reinvent it for the 21st century.”
This may tangle the timeline up a bit but I do
understand why Cameron would make this move or made this decision.
Reason being is that none of the films after the Terminator:
Judgement day or Terminator 2 film had grossed over it at the box
office. Judgement Day's $521M gross has yet to be broken after four
films in the franchise. The reason being could point to Linda
Hamilton not taking up her role as Sarah Connor or at least that is
what it looks like.
