Netflix Cancels Their Marvel Shows. Maybe Moving To Disney +.

December 1, 2018
Netflix is one of the most known and most successful streaming companies out and is closely rivaled by other streaming platforms like Hulu and possibly later Amazon's up and coming streaming system.
The platform had a plethora of new and cool shows like Narcos, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Punisher and even cool movies and originals. There were even sayings for the popular streaming company like "Netflix and Chill" and more. Everything seemed to be on the up and up for the streaming giant.
However, like all companies, a wrong move can cause any company to lose in the financial department and favor with fans. Netflix just may be one of those companies. Netflix had previously canceled a few shows that were actually fan loved and promoted. These shows all are form and part of the Marvel Comic book universe. Netflix announced it would no longer produce episodes of Iron Fist or Luke Cage (Luke Cage being the better show in many viewers eyes), leading fans of the shows to cringe in anticipation of more cancellations.
Fans were right and it was revealed that Netflix had canceled Daredevil, the most critically acclaimed of the shows from the Marvel Netflix universe. This marked the inevitable end to the Marvel and Netflix relationship with just Jessica Jones and The Punisher left standing and fans can expect them to be canceled also. The cancellation of the other two may happen after its next up and coming seasons. This is seeing that a second season of The Punisher is already in production, and season 3 of Jessica Jones began shooting this summer.  Both of those shows will release on Netflix in 2019.
Many fans wondered if the cancellation is because Disney is coming out with their own streaming platform called Disney+ in late 2019. This also comes after Disney released a statement about Daredevil not being through completely and this is not the last time well be seeing "The Man Without Fear". Disney stated, “We look forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future." Later, the Daredevil Twitter page released a picture that featured a caption that read "Justice Never Stops" and "Nelson, Murdock & Page".
This may mean that the shows may just be coming to Disney+. However, there is no official statement that confirms this. Marvel released a statement talking about the cast. Full statement here:
Marvel is extremely grateful to the huge audience that loved Marvel’s Daredevil. From the moment of young Matt’s first act of heroism to the birth of Page, Murdock, & Nelson, it has been an unbelievable journey. We are incredibly proud of the amazing showrunners and writers starting with Drew Goddard and Steven DeKnight, Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie and Erik Oleson, Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio and our casts who brought our characters to life with such excellence, and every one of the fantastic crews in NYC. We look forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future.
I believe Disney knows exactly what it is doing. Disney also has the financial output to help with the series. The last season of Daredevil may have been it's worse. Just like the last season of Narcos or season 4. Fans believe this is from a financial hit the streaming platform took after a bad business move.
Whatever the case may be, Marvel shows just may be in a good place. What do you think let MovieCreedLive know by commenting below?
