Jordan Peele struck gold and surprised millions when with his debut film titled 'Get Out' that had unbelievable commercial success and became a family loved film. The film had everything that included an exceptionally talented cast that included Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Lakeith Stanfield, Lil Rel Howery, Bradley Whitford, Catherine Keener, Stephen Root, Marcus Henderson, Erika Alexander and many others.

The film also featured a great soundtrack that featured songs like Sikiliza Kwa Wahenga which is a Swahili phrase that translates to listen to your ancestors and the hit song titled 'Stay Woke' by Childish Gambino. The film kind of opened the door for Peele to become a box office draw when pertaining to directing and putting out his own films.

Peele announced after Get Out success he was putting out another film that featured the horror theme that Get Out had however it would not be a follow up to the film but a whole new film. The film was later revealed to be Us and starred actress Lupita Nyongo and actor Winston Duke as the couple with Shahadi Wrigth Joseph and Evan Alex as their children.

The film was recently released a few days ago or March 22 and has received mixed reviews from many people who loved the 'Get Out' film with fans saying that the film really missed its mark and wasn't even close as good as 'Get Out.'

Despite this particular blow back and the mixed reviews the film actually broke a long held record by another film series that was a cult classic. It has been revealed that Peele's 'Us' had opened up with over $71m and breaking the record of being the highest opening ever for an original ‘R’ rated film.

This original title or record was held by cult classic film series 'Halloween.' It also dethroned killer clown or demonic clown movie 'It'.

Hopefully Peele decides to go back to the formula he used in 'Get Out' and keep going from there.

Still, congrats on the success of two successful films and many more even more successful films to come.
