DC Comics' The Spectre Has Been Cast in 'Constantine' TV Series.

DC Comics' The Spectre Has Been Cast in 'Constantine' TV Series.

So many recent conversations have gone into what comic characters may or may not be headed to Zack Snyder's DC Comic Films, one could be forgiven for forgetting that NBC is also heading into that universe with their upcoming series Constantine. Maybe the series will return to the top of fan expectations now that DC character Jim Corrigan has been cast, making it entirely plausible that The Spectre will be making his live-action TV debut at some point this fall. Who you gonna call?

The Corrigan role has been filled by Irish actor Emmett Scanlan, formerly of the long-running British soap opera Hollyoaks. Scanlan was notable for his work in the BBC’s acclaimed dramatic thriller The Fall last year, and he’s already walked down supernatural paths as the disciple Simon in the zombie drama In the Flesh, seen in the picture above.

'Supernatural' Season 10 Official Poster Revealed: Wrestle Your Demons.

'Supernatural' Season 10 Official Poster Revealed: Wrestle Your Demons.

Last season of The CW's original series 'Supernatural' was a bit of a letdown from a personal standpoint seeing that I think that the return of Michael and Lucifer and the appearance of God and reappearance of Death would make things a bit better as season 9's storyline was pretty dry.

I hope I can say different for season 10. This October, 'Supernatural' is set to return with its 10th season and while still uncertain whether the series will be back for even more seasons after next year, the drama already has the full support of CW president Mark Pedowitz to continue on for “as long as they want.” So basically, if the ratings stay the same, with Supernatural in third place right behind Arrow and The Vampire Diaries, season 10 may not be the end of the Winchester brothers on TV.

This is assuming, of course, that ...

Constantine Gets Release Date and New Photos.

If you were expecting NBC's upcoming superhero series 'Constatine' to premiere any time soon than I have bad news for you and the bad news is that you have about four months.

The good news, though? We now finally have a date to look forward to.

Constantine will debut October 24 on NBC, with the Matt Ryan-starring show therefore taking on a decent chunk of the network's early season expectations.

The show, which also stars Harold Perrineau Jr., Lucy Griffiths and Charles Halford, is one of the most eagerly anticipated debut series of this coming fall, and part of a new wave of superhero themed TV that looks set to be all-but-everpresent in the coming year. Gotham, The Flash and Agent Carter, however, are based on properties more established in the public consciousness, so in many ways it is the success or otherwise of Constantine that could be ...

Could Damon Return in Season 6 of 'The Vampire Diaries'?

Could Damon Return in Season 6 of 'The Vampire Diaries'?

The Huge shock waves of hurt and distress from the death of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) during the season finale of 'The Vampire Diaries' continue to shake the foundations of everything we hold dear.

Surely the show can't continue without the blue-eyed heartthrob at it's emotional core.

Well it turns out it can't: because Damon will be back in Season 6.

Here's showrunner Julie Plec on the return of Damon and Bonnie:
I think it means there’s a mystery attached to how the show ended. Did they die? Did they find peace? Are they still on the Other Side? Does the Other Side still exist? If not, where the hell are they? And will they ever come back? Certainly, we will see Ian [Somerhalder] and Kat [Graham] again, but where and in what context? That’s part of the mystery of Season 6.
There was a ...

'Constantine' Get its First Trailer.

NBC's first trailer for their new TV series titled 'Constantine' would has been revealed. The trailer gives an insight on just what John Constantine will be facing this time around.

I think the only problem this show would have if any is how it looks and feels to similar to The CW's 'Supernatural' series. I think that Constantine probably should have been added to that series or something. I'm really unsure about this. I could be wrong or I hope like h*ll I'm wrong about this. Guess I will just have to wait and see when the show airs on

Does the trailer intrigue you enough to want to watch more? Let me know by commenting below.

'Lost' likely to get reboot says co-creator.

'Lost' likely to get reboot says co-creator.

Lost was certainly a televisual mold-breaker. To my mind, it was one of the first shows of the modern era which really gave cinema a run for its money. Without Lost, we might not have seen the likes of Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead. It was the first show which really made execs stand up and pay attention to the small screen.

Indeed, from the sounds of things, those execs are still paying attention. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, co-creator Calton Cuse suggested the reboot sharks could be circling the franchise. He explained:
I think it's likely that at some point, ABC will want to reboot Lost because it's a valuable franchise, and there will be some young, bright writer or writers who will come up with a great idea that the network responds to, and that'll be great. I do ...
