It was revealed a while ago that the remake to Antoine Fuqua's film Scarface was gearing up to be created yet again.
A breakdown of what the new remake would feature was revealed which it was stated that the new film will follow a Mexican Immigrant who decides to fight for his version of the American Dream but not in Miami like the 1983 Al Pacino starring version or the 1932 version but this story is going to take place in Los Angeles.
It has now been revealed that an A-List scribe has been tasked with bringing this film to the big screen. Terence Winter (The Wolf of Wall Street, Boardwalk Empire) has been tasked to write the film. The guys at Variety revealed that Winter had signed to also polish a draft of the film made by Jonathan Herman (Straight Outta Compton).
