Venom: Film Will Be Horror/Sci-Fi + Begins Shooting Fall 2017 & Not Part of MCU.
March 30, 2017
Recently, we revealed that the solo film
forSpider-Manvillain, Venom as greenlit and will be released
in 2018. We also gave insight on how we think the series should
follow the MCU or Marvel Cinematic Universe and introducing him via
Tom Holland's Spider-Man in Infinity Wars would be a good idea to

film not being part of the MCU and an R-rating with a Horror/Sci-Fi

I’m only focused on my movie right now.”
Don't know how this may work out. Why not
introduce one of Spider-Man's greatest villains to the new
