Godzilla vs. Kong Release Date Pushed UP Two Months.February 22, 2019
For a long time, fans have been awaiting the day we could see the most classic Kaiju or who we know is Godzilla and King Kong back to slug it out with each other on the big screen.
Well back in 2016 it was revealed that the Godzilla vs King Kong film was in works. The two hit films Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla 2014 has catapulted the future of the series or the inevitable fight of the two King OF Monsters on the big screen. After the two films were released, Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures revealed that Godzilla vs. King Kong would be coming after the second Godzilla film which is set to be released May 31, 2019 with a budget of 200 million USD.
It has just been revealed that there was a minor setback or set up with the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong film. Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. revealed that Godzilla vs. Kong will be having a new release date.
The new released date for the film is slated to be March of 2020.
The new release is slated so that it will not clash with other films in the box office that may put up some minor or major competition to the film.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed the news that the film will not be hitting theaters until March 13, 2020 instead of May 22, which was previously planned. It is impossible to know fully which film will be the biggest hit at the box office and this is speaking generally. Its best to minimize the amount of competition big budget films will have if it’s possible.
This just may be a big move and cool move by Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures.
