Venom Surpass Justice League at Box Office & Post Credit Scene Coming!
November 12, 2018
Sony's Venom has
officially beat out DC/WB's Justice League movie or film at the
worldwide box office.
The film that was
released recently has revealed to have beat the film with a current
pull in of $673.5 million - $15 million more than the Warner Bros
superhero compilation film.
Justice League had
itself earned $657.9 million in all so far. Venom is still out and
the film is well on its way to becoming or grossing well over $700
million. Most of the Venom's film profit currently comes from its
international markets, while Justice League has maintained a much
larger haul domestically with $229 million against Venom's very own
$206 million so far.
Sony has already
grabbed up $467 million just compared to Justice League's very own
$428 million. China has become the gross booster lately when it
comes to the international box office seeing that most movies have
been opening up late in China as of late. For Venom, China has
given the movie it's record-setting opening with $111
This push has
allowed Venom to become the second highest opening weekend for a
superhero movie just behind 'Avengers: Infinity War.' As I stated,
you can expect the film to possibly break more records and we will
be reporting if that happens. On the flip side, it was revealed
that the Venom Blu-ray will be featuring extended mid-credits
According to Trailer
Track, the special features on the Venom home media release include
an extended version of the San Quentin scene. It is said to
apparently be one of three cut sequences that will be available,
along with "Ride to the Hospital" and "Car
Many say that the
post-credits will feature Kladeus Kasady or Carnage and more play
between him and Eddie Brock. It is also said that actor Woody
Harrelson will be bringing Carnage to life. If all this is true
then this will be a treat.
